Gibran Alcocer

Short Biography

Gibran Alcocer is a 21-year-old Mexican pianist, composer and producer originally from Yucatán, who has been immersed in music since he was little. He began his musical journey by taking piano lessons and eventually continued with classical music studies. His gift for songwriting and production emerged at the age of 12.

In 2021 he started on the TikTok platform where he became known for his piano cover performances. At the beginning of 2022 he ventured into composing instrumental music.

In July 2022, he released his first original song “Idea 10”, a piano solo composed, produced and performed by himself, which quickly gained wide recognition on platforms such as Tiktok, Instagram and YouTube. From that moment on, he has continued composing original songs such as idea 22, idea 1, idea 9, idea 15, which he names that way when working on them following a numerical order and only releases them once it has been written. satisfied with them.

In July 2023, he was invited by renowned producer and artist Tainy, 6-time Latin GRAMMY winner, to work as composer and producer of his album “Data”.

And it was in that same month that one of his works “Idea 1”, was used by the DJ and producer Atmozfears to create “The Soul”, a song that stood out at the closing of the “Defqon.1 Weekend Festival”, the most important part of the Hardstyle electronic music planet.

His music has been listened to by millions of people on all continents through different streaming platforms and has been used by content creators around the world to accompany their videos.
