Queen – We Are The Champions
We Are The Champions | 3:00 | |
We Will Rock You | 2:01 | 1977 |
Originally released October 7, 1977 and lifted off the “News Of The World” album, this song pair has (each in its own right) reached truly anthemic status and as a result been covered, sampled, performed, or played at events of every imaginable kind.
This complex grouping assembles all single releases of the regular studio versions where –
a) “We Are The Champions” is backed with “We Will Rock You” (most commonly in that configuration);
b) either “We Are The Champions” OR “We Will Rock You” were re-released individually or as a double-A side (such as the 3-inch CD re-releases from 1988, and irrespective of the B-side or extra tracks);
c) or they are promos, test pressings, bootlegs, counterfeits or similar of the aforementioned.
Drastic reworkings (Rick Rubin, Crazy Frog), the live versions from 1979 or 1986, re-recordings with “guest vocalists” such as Robbie Williams or Five do NOT belong in this grouping, these are grouped separately.
• 2022 – THE CULT – ‘Under the Midnight Sun’

Joe Cocker – Night Calls
Night Calls is the thirteenth studio album by Joe Cocker, released on 7 October 1991.
There were three different editions of the album released in 1991 and 1992. Each of them featured different selections of songs, in different orders, and had different works of cover art. In addition, a DTS edition of the album was released in the UK in 1998, also with a different selection of songs.
