Sonny Stitt/Bud Powell/J. J. Johnson (also released as All God’s Children Got Rhythm) is an album by saxophonist Sonny Stitt compiling tracks recorded with trombonist J. J. Johnson or pianist Bud Powell in 1949–50 and released on the Prestige label in 1957. The 1990 CD reissue added five bonus tracks to the original LP. The cover art was done by cartoonist Don Martin of MAD magazine fame.

Reunion with Chet Baker is an album recorded in 1957 by saxophonist Gerry Mulligan‘s Quartet with trumpeter Chet Baker which was released by World Pacific. It was Baker’s first recording after moving to New York City.

Snurdy McGurdy and Her Dancin’ Shoes is an album by American jazz saxophonist Roscoe Mitchell which was recorded in 1980 and released on Nessa. It was the debut of the Sound Ensemble which introduced four young musicians: trumpeter Hugh Ragin, guitarist A. Spencer Barefield, bassist Jaribu Shahid and drummer Tani Tabbal. The album was reissued on CD in 2003.

Land of Giants is an album by McCoy Tyner released on the Telarc label in 2003. It was recorded in December 2002 and features performances of Tyner with vibraphonist Bobby Hutcherson, bassist Charnett Moffett and drummer Eric Harland. The Allmusic review by Matt Collar states that “While the work here is by no means as provocative as the stuff Hutcherson and Tyner produced in their heydays, it nonetheless proves them to be utter masters of the straight-ahead modern jazz idiom and should appeal to longtime fans”.

Homecoming is a live double LP by jazz saxophonist Dexter Gordon, recorded at the Village Vanguard in New York City in 1976. The album’s title refers to Gordon’s return to the United States after a long residency in Europe.
