Records which also features trumpeter Richard Williams, tenor saxophonist Clifford Jordan, trombonist Julian Priester, pianist Mal Waldron, bassist Art Davis, and a vocal choir conducted by Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson. Keith Jarrett – Treasure Island (1974)
Treasure Island is an album recorded in February 1974 by Keith Jarrett and originally released by Impulse! in 1974. It features Jarrett’s later-to-be-called “American Quartet” (Dewey Redman, Charlie Haden, Paul Motian) plus guitarist Sam Brown, and percussionists Guilherme Franco and Danny Johnson.
Two months after recording Treasure Island, in April 1974, Jarrett would enter a studio in Norway to record Belonging with a group of Scandinavian players, later called Jarrett’s “European group”.

Spirits Gathering is an album by the Billy Bang Quartet, led by violinist Bang, and featuring guitarist Brett Allen, double bassist Akira Ando, and drummer Denis Charles. It was recorded on February 28, 1996, at the Spirit Room in Rossie, New York, and was released later that year by the CIMP label.
